Coyote Awareness in Nashville, TN

Upon creating this website and discussing the coyote issue with more people, it's becoming  even more apparent that there have been unreported incidents of coyotes attacking pets.. this also includes reports from people stating that coyotes have come after their dogs in their yards or on walks thru their neighborhoods.

The only way we can start to get a grasp on this is to start communicating with our neighbors. If coyotes are sighted, let your neighbors know. If you happen across a coyote, make as much noise as possible to get him to move on. Remember.. You are the boss . You're not doing the coyote any favors in feeling sorry for him by putting out food or making his urban life more comfortable.

We all need to make the coyote unwelcome and that's what is needed to keep him out of trouble.
